About Me

Hi there, My name is Ashley Kidd-Tatge CD(DONA), LCCE. I'm a Minneapolis native and lover of all things pregnancy, birth, and babies. I was 14 when I had the honor of witnessing the arrival of my youngest niece. In that moment I realized
every woman should be informed, encouraged, and trusted to give birth.
Your body is gifted with unique intuition and sensibilities needed to bring your baby safely in to the world. I am you cheerleader, reassuring presence, and unwavering support during this special time for you - regardless of birth plans and preference.

I believe in your ability to give birth. I believe in your strength. Your labor and delivery can set the tone for your new life with your baby; let's work together and make it majestic. Click here for a list of my services.

Services
Available in packages or a la carte
Birth Doula
As a birth doula, I provide continuous, physical, emotional and informational support to mothers and their partners. We work together before, during, and after childbirth to help you and your partner achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.
Placenta Preparation
After birth, your placenta can be steamed, dehydrated, ground, and placed into pills or tinctures. This pill or tincture is taken and is believed to impart numerous health benefits such as increased milk production and regulation of hormones throughout postpartum and beyond. Placenta prints and art are also available upon request.
Sibling Doula
Sibling doulas tend to older children while their parents have a baby. Whether planning for a home, birth center, or hospital birth, I ensure that your children are cared for and safe - in home or present at the birth. The birth process is explained in the most "kid-friendly" way possible and kids have a "birth buddy" they can rely on. Learn more.
Childbirth Education
As a Lamaze Childbirth Educator, I provide evidence-based sources of information on pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. The information taught follows Lamaze International's "Six Healthy Birth Practices". No more funny breathing! Learn more.
